The university attaches great importance to and extensively carries out international exchanges and cooperation. We have established relationships with 52 universities, colleges and research institutes from the United States, Japan, Russia, Canada, South Korea, Australia, Ireland and other countries. During these activities, the university has gradually formed its characteristic of international exchanges: based on Northeast Asia and absorbing various advantages. At the same time, the university has become the base of communication between China, Northeast Asia and other cold areas in science technology and education culture. The university has held international academic conferences for many times and has always been an active participant in international academic exchanges. At the same time, we have repeatedly invited domestic and foreign experts and scholars to give lectures in the university, for example: in August 1992, the university held an international on pig species, at which 230 experts and scholars from 13 countries such as the United States, France, Japan and Canada were present. It is the first large-scale international colloquium on pigs which was hosted by China; In August 1996, the university hosted the first international academic meeting on weeds; in 2007, we also held a meeting to commemorate the 100th birth of Xu Zhenying, which is also an international seminar on animal science and technology.
